Sofia Gardens is approximately half a kilometre north of the main Sofia Ring road. Half a kilometre north is the metro underground train station, which is located next to Paradise Mall.
A mere five to 10 minutes drive north you reach the centre of Sofia at the NDK park and exhibition centre. To the north east within a 15 minute drive is Sofia International Airport.
A five minute drive to the south takes you to the bottom of Vitosha mountain at Dragaleski famous village with assortment of restaurants. A fifteen to twenty minute drive south will take you to the top of the Vitosha mountain from here you can either take the lift to a top skiing resort (open evenings in Winter as well as day times), or for a magnificent hiking walk which can lead you to the top of Vitosha mountain with spectacular views covered in snow during winter or wild flowers and bushes in spring and summer time.
Borovets, one of the most modern ski resorts in Bulgaria is only a 40 to 50 minute drive away. Multiple slopes for skiing and restaurants for lunch make it a favourable one day drive and return experience.
Bansko, the main Bulgarian ski resort which was voted 'the best value for money European ski resort' in 2015 is about two hours away.
